Pirivom Santhippom

irivom Santhippom, Karu Pazhaniappan' s latest offering, is a romantic drama all set to hit the screens on Diwali. Karu Pazhaniappan has always been innovative in his conceptualization and visualization of song sequences. His efforts in Parthiban Kanavu were there for all to see. The song in which every single object used in our daily life as lead to the verses did reach out to audience.

In Pirivom Santhippom he has tried another innovation, and for this he has employed the services of lyricist Yugabharathy, set to tune by Vidyasagar. The song is penned based on ancient literary traits not followed in contemporary poetry. These literary traits called `ilakana ani' define the grammar for poetry. An innovative effort worthy of mention but purists wonder if it would reach the audience.

Debutant director S T Vendhan is optimistic of rendering a hit in ‘Inba’ that features Shaam and Sneha.
It's a love story and Shaam suits the role perfectly. The story delves into the impact of love on the hero's life. Sneha plays the female lead. Vivek appears in the comic interludes.
The Shaam-Sneha combination is not something new. The duo has worked in films such as ‘Hey Nee Romba Azhaga Irukke’ and ‘ABCD’.
Shaam says, “I play the role of a bubbly young man. There's scope to experiment with my looks as my role demands varied get-ups. Though the story is based on love, there's plenty of action too.”
On her part, Sneha says, “Both Shaam and I have taken great pains to perform well. I don the role of a talkative girl, who loves spending money and having a good time.”
The film has the music scored by P B Balaji, who played keyboard for A R Rahman.
