Vikram is finally a relieved man now. His Bheema has finally seen the lights after a gap of three years. Talking about this the actor says that he did Bheema for its unique climax.



After Majaa, Vikram did not do anyother movie because of his commitment to Bheema. The price he paid was almost 12 crore, the actor says. He had a one and half crore personal loss and upto 10 crore loss for not accepting anyother movies during this time. The film Bheema has been sold for 23 crores and is expected to fetch a distributors share of 1 crore in Tirunelveli-Tanjore belt, which normally happens only for blockbusters.

The actor is open to all kinds of roles and is willing to experiment his roles, but wants to work only with experianced directors. Kanthasamy will be a childrens oriented movie and will be a treat to them. Cheeyan Vikram will next do a movie with Selvaraghavan.

Young heroine Nila says give time a brake for romance



Continuous disputes with the producers and directors fades the shining of Nila in Kollywood. Her hopes are shattered in Telugu filmdom also. After realized her position, she is now sincerely learning Tamil language to understand the people and strengthen her hold in the industry. And she is not going to get married in the near future. The fact is that she has no time romance before marriage.

These, she is mixing with producers and directors freely. This change in attitude has earned her three films in Tamil. Her film Killadi with Bharath is releasing soon. “Story is very important to a film’s success. Success is the only mantra in any language to survive. An actress must be affluent with the language she is acting to understand the culture and flavor of the region better. That is the main reason for my Tamil tuition,” said Nila.

Talking about her Marriage, she said, “I will never marry anybody secretly. I will inform my marriage to my friends, each and every person in the film world. In fact, I’ll make it public on television when time comes to tie the knot. Since I haven’t committed any mistake, why should I hide my marriage? I will declare my marriage within 2011. Till then, my concentration will be on cinema only. There is no place for love and romance before marriage. My parents will never accept for a love marriage.”

Tamil Film Producers Council has decided to suspend members from Karnataka



A joint meeting of the South Indian film Chambers, Tamil Film Producers Council and South Indian Artistes Association has decided to suspend members from Karnataka. The suspension will last till the problem was solved, a release said. No cooperation would be extended to film crews from Karnataka when they come here for film shooting, editing and re-recording, it added.

President of South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce, KRG while talking about this has said that if the situation will not recover its normalcy, all those members will be out from the chamber permanently.

In another incident two fast food restaurants, belonging to a business house from Karnataka, were ransacked allegedly by a group of advocates here on Wednesday, in an apparent retaliation to attacks on cinema halls showing Tamil movies and Tamil Sangam office in Bangalore in the wake of the Tamil Nadu-Karnataka standoff on Hogenakkal water project.
